Something this large shouldn't move.  Well, swaying in the wind would be one thing, but not walking over and trying to punt your carcass out of the forest.  The creaking sound it makes as it shuffles toward you can be felt vibrating your ribcage.  Whatever you have done to offend this creature, you're quite certain that you are now trapped.  The other trees seem to shift and move in response to its desires.

==Attacks and abilities==
The Elder Treant has a rather simple and slow (about every 10 seconds) yet nonetheless devastating attack.  It swings one of its large branches straight at you, crushing ribs, shattering the sternum and knocking the wind out of you; the dull impact penetrates most armour and it is very hard to avoid.

Two Druids are unlikely to win over the Elder Treant unless they both have six stamina or are using Vamparic weapons, because you are almost certain to run out of [[Advanced Healing Potion]]s before the Elder Treant runs out of health.  Using [[Vampire Blood Potion]]s and other special potions are a good means of overcoming the odds if you lack a third Druid, although these can get expensive.

Of course, there is nothing stopping you from reorganising your crits to finish it off after dying, although it is wise to bear in mind that you will probably end up with less experience than what you started with.
