Profile

Regal and tall, this Drow maiden regards you with pure distain. Her slanted eyes glow a pale and unnatural green as her blackened cape flares with each movement, shining silver rings glinting against ebony hands as she weaves her spells.

Attacks and abilities

Ku'Nal possesses stronger variants of the spells used by the regular Drow Priestesses, along her own personal ice blast spell and the ability to summon Nether Beasts, their powers probably augmented by her close proximity to numerous Mana Roots as well as the blessing of Kiaransalee. She is also very proficient with her Ilythiiri Keeshe, and is extremely resilient.

If your party mostly consists of crits around level 30, it is probably wise to ignore the Nether Beasts that appear and focus your attacks on her, using your Clerics to keep them healed and to cast Enhance if you have stamina to spare. At Grandmaster levels, you might be able to afford attacking them with your Clerics and spell-casters occasionally. Keep an eye on her health though, as her self-heal spell is powerful, and if you find you cannot do enough damage, focus purely on her.

Notes

• Avoid destroying the Mana Root that protrudes on her square, as doing so will allow her to summon a third Nether Beast.
• She doesn't carry the vulnerability that other Drow have to the Ilythiiri Keeshe; the dagger still damages her plenty, but the weapon's damage multiplier doesn't apply.
