The Lord of the Balrogs will summon Pit Wraiths and Dark Djinn by its side to defend it, and has a regular Balrog supporting it at the fight's start.

When first introduced, Gothmog dropped Sentant Stones along with the two items. Later, the Sentant Stone drop was given to the Balrog that is on the square with it so Gothmog drops either items and no longer drops a Sentant Stone.
