• A Torturer sits in the death traps in the Trial of Gauntlet (also of Harabec Dungeon), and does not appear anywhere else in that quadrant, so it can be spied on with a Spyglass to locate the traps in that region.

• Despite having moderate magic resistance, the Torturer is one of the best monsters for magic users to fight due to its high experience, offering one of the best ratios of experience gained to mana used outside of the Cauldron of Shadows.
